Every city has its own scent. Rome, for example, smells of cigarettes and cologne. And Amalfi? Of salt, lemon, and something you can’t even name.

Inspired by the silence of Atrani, its narrow passages, worn façades, and the air filled with the scent of the sea. These sofas are the first thing I imagine for the interior of a little house on a hill.

In the old villas along the Amalfi coast, fabrics are not just decoration – they are a tactile memory of a lavish past. Velvet carries that southern softness and reflects light in a special way. That is exactly how I picture the interior of my house on the hill: refined, elegant, yet warm and comfortable.

A mirrored base reflects the space, making the sofa ever-changing, never the same. The color is mature, sophisticated – oxblood red. The strong contrast between the soft seating and the cold mirror creates a unique psychological effect. It embodies pure geometry and rich texture. It feels sculptural, calm, and monumental. It is not just a piece of furniture – it is part of an atmosphere, a story, an identity. That is what creates the connection between furniture and art.

The collaboration with Atlas has made it possible for this concept to become reality.
